✨ Shoutout to the Shotwell Middle Sharks for Embracing the Power of Affirmations ✨

CCC recently had the amazing opportunity to visit Shotwell Middle School in Houston, TX for Career Day. Alongside radio personality Amir Diamond from The Vibe on KTSU 90.9FM, we spoke with students in Media and Tech classes.

I was happy to draw on my experiences from Nickelodeon, NBCUniversal, Disney, and Google, to help illustrate the possibilities and diverse career paths in radio, TV, and tech. Many students expressed a passion for YouTube, and it was a privilege to share my insights as a former employee!

The conversation didn't stop there! We also covered entrepreneurship, and the tech students even got a hands-on demo of our CCC products! The participation and support from Shotwell was incredible, and we hope to visit many more Houston schools in the future!

We are pleased to continue the Women’s History Month celebrations with a reflection of the power we possess!

Two years ago, a fellow author and I met at a coffee shop to sharpen each other’s pens. We both found a journal prompt and took the time there at the coffee shop to write our responses. The prompt was, “What in Your Opinion is Strength?” 

Reflecting on the magnitude of Women’s History Month, I thought this would be the perfect piece to share with our Star Player community. With this post, we are sending strength and solidarity to all the amazing women who help run the world!
