📰⏲️ Feeling Stressed? New Study Shows Affirmation Self-Care Hack for Wellbeing ⏲️📰

Hello, Star Players! Feeling overwhelmed? You're not alone. But a recent study from UC Berkeley published in the Behaviour Research and Therapy Journal offers a simple solution: self-compassionate touch paired with positive affirmations. The study, reported on by the New York Post and Fox News, found that college students who practiced this technique daily saw a significant reduction in stress and an increase in emotional well-being.

"The key is making it a habit," says Dr. David Susman, lead researcher. "Simply touching yourself in a comforting way, like placing a hand on your heart, while silently repeating a positive affirmation can significantly reduce stress and improve mental health."

Looking for an easy way to incorporate this into your routine? Celestial Content Creations has you covered! Our brand new YouTube playlist, "Affirmations for a Better Day," features short (15-20 second) videos filled with soft, kind, and loving words to set your intention for a positive day. ✨ Reflecting on a Year of Growth for CCC After South by Southwest 2023!

While we won't be attending South by Southwest (SXSW) this year, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible impact it had on our business from our attendance last year.

SXSW is a unique event designed to propel businesses forward through innovation, connection, and education. Founded in 1987, this conference is committed to helping creative people achieve their goals. This annual gathering takes place in Austin, TX and celebrates at the intersection of tech, film, music, education and cultural industries.

Thankful for all the wonderful Star Players we connected with at 2023 SXSW!

Our attendance in Austin proved to be a turning point for Celestial Content Creations. We forged phenomenal connections that blossomed into thriving partnerships, many of which continue to fuel our success here in Houston. SXSW provided a platform to showcase our products on stages like the Black Future House, where we shared our start-up story and met a fantastic audience.

Beyond the formal presentations, casual interactions with attendees yielded heartwarming reactions to our work. We also cherished the opportunity to stand united with others who share our passion for movements that uplift our community. Take a look below at our reflection video with highlights from the conference.

The experience at SXSW solidified the power of connection and continues to inspire us as we move forward. While we won't be there physically this year, the momentum and relationships we built in Austin remain strong!

Fresh Off the Press: What Have We Written Lately?

♀️❤️ This Women’s History Month Don’t Let The Elevator Bring You Down- A Blog for Being Strong ❤️♀️

We are pleased to continue the Women’s History Month celebrations with a reflection of the power we possess!

This blog is a statement of solidarity to all the women who will stop at nothing to achieve their mental, emotional and physical freedom. This piece was inspired by Prince’s iconic Let’s Go Crazy opening sermon from the Purple Rain album.

This happens to be one of my favorite vinyl records to play at home—so of course the sermon lives rent free in my head. Here’s how I relate his effervescent words to empowerment for women who wish to keep their sanity by preserving the right to lose control.

Enjoy this blog and let us know your reactions in the comments!
