🦉 ✨ Did You Know?? Positive Affirmations Originated in Egypt with Goddess Ma’at ✨🦉

Hello, Star Players! The deeper I get into the work of building this positivity powerhouse, the more fascinated I become with the depths of affirmations. In my latest round of research, I discovered a wonderful gem that I am so excited to share with all of you! Positive Affirmations root and connect us back to antiquity, more specifically to the Goddess Ma’at.

In the heart of ancient Egypt, bathed in the Nile's golden glow, resided a goddess far wiser than her gilded crown – Ma’at. Ma’at embodied the very essence of cosmic order, truth, and balance. Her husband— Thoth, god of wisdom and writing, found an eager student in Maat, for she craved understanding the universe's delicate dance.

Maat's greatest gift to humanity wasn't a monumental pyramid or a dazzling spell. Although her husband did dedicate a pyramid in her honor. Her gift was sage wisdom, etched onto papyrus scrolls and whispered in the desert wind – the 42 Laws of Maat. These weren't mere commandments, but positive affirmations, guiding principles to navigate life's labyrinth. Speak with kindness, act with compassion, honor the Earth, and embrace truth – these were the threads Ma’at wove into the tapestry of our current existence.

Maat's legacy echoes millenniums later. The 42 Laws, though shrouded in time, have become a touchstone for positive affirmations, reminding us that our inner voice can shape our own reality. So, the next time you face a challenge, remember Maat, the feather-crowned queen. Call on her essence to whisper her wisdom to your soul. You might just find the universe whispers back, aligning itself with the rhythm of your own truth.
